History

Willenhall is an historic industrial town in the Black Country. With a rich history of manufacturing it is famous for the manufacture of locks and keys, and continues to play an important role in UK manufacturing today.

'Holland Engineering Services' was formed in 1982 on Holland Street in Willenhall by three partners, providing stamping and welding services to customers based in the West Midlands and surrounding areas with the lock and key industry as a cornerstone of its operations. This quickly led to expansion into the automotive industry, and the company built a reputation for its high quality and reliability. In 1997, facing increased customer demand, the company relocated to its larger current premises on Ashmore Lake Road.

'Holland Engineering Services' Limited was acquired by 'HES (Midlands) Limited' in early 2012 with the retirement of the founding owners, and has since expanded rapidly with new management and modern engineering knowledge. We are now a highly active and competent Tier 2 Automotive stamping company, and stand among the most competitive and innovative metal stamping companies in the Midlands. With a forward-thinking and resourceful management team we are able to provide our customers with industry-leading solutions to their stamping requirements, and have invested time and resources in building very strong relations with our customers and suppliers both in the UK and abroad.
